SUMMARY:English Foundation Course: Empathy and Conflict Resolution
DESCRIPTION:March to April 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMatthias Flury and Martina Pesce offer an introduction to the art of empathic listening and conflict resolution.  \n\n\n\nThis is an introduction. No previous knowledge is necessary. \n\n\n\nThe course will be held in English. Matthias Flury speaks fluent German and English. Martina is fluent in Italian\, Spanish & English. You can speak each of these languages in the course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBoth on a small and large scale\, we humans are traversing an uncertain and highly complex terrain. Differences of opinion and conflicts seem to be inevitable. \n\n\n\nWe have made it our mission to support individuals and groups in listening to each other\, even when opinions are diametrically opposed or even in conflict. \n\n\n\nTo help deepen interpersonal cohesion both in intimate relationships and in society as a whole\, we carry out educational work on the topics of empathy and conflict resolution. We believe that an empathic culture can bring back cohesion in situations in which it still seems unthinkable today for people to find each other again. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn this course\, you will learn how to communicate in a way that increases the chance of others \n\n\n\n\nunderstanding your point of view\n\n\n\nfeeling curious to listen to you\n\n\n\nwanting to cooperate with you\n\n\n\n\nYou will learn to navigate conflicts so that \n\n\n\n\nYou are addressing the cause and not the symptoms\n\n\n\nAll parties are heard\n\n\n\nCreative solutions are found that cover as many needs as possible\n\n\n\n\nYou will discover self-care practices which will help you \n\n\n\n\nCultivate acceptance and self-connection\n\n\n\nfind inner clarity\n\n\n\ndeal with strong emotions such as anger\, sadness or fear\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpreading these skills is our contribution to the challenging yet wondrous journey of humanity.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur work is not profit-oriented. We don’t want to make big money (more information in German) but we want to make a contribution to the challenging yet wondrous journey that we are taking together as human beings. \n\n\n\nThat is why we are dependent on financial support. All people can take part in our courses\, regardless of their financial means. In other words: you pay what you can\, including zero. \n\n\n\nReference price: 90–230 CHF per session \n\n\n\nInvoice: We can issue an invoice for your workplace for this training course. \n\n\n\nGroup size: 10–15 participants and 2–3 assistants \n\n\n\nTrial: If you don’t want to register for the whole course\, you can register for a non-binding trial.
